Non-emergency transport by Ambulance
We offer non-emergency transport by Ambulance. If you are interested in more information on these services, call our dispatch center at 724-837-6134 Ext 106 and speak to one of our call intake specialists.
The call intake specialist works with the business office to determine what services are covered by your insurance and what are not.
We also work with Exclea, UPMC and AHN to make sure our clients that require medical transport can count on us to assist with discharges home or to nursing facilities. If you know you’ll need our services for discharge please make sure you tell your hospital case manager that you would like Mutual Aid as your transport service.
BLS services are for patients who cannot safely ride in a vehicle or wheelchair, and instead require an individual to lie on a stretcher to be monitored during a transport. These patients only require basic level of medical supervision, and BLS services can range from transports to and from healthcare facilities as well as private residences.
